As COP30 approaches, Latin American countries are updating their NDCs, setting new targets for reducing emissions and enhancing climate adaptation. Meeting these commitments will require substantial investment across key strategic sectors, including energy, transport, agriculture, and land use. Yet, the region faces a wide gap between its climate finance needs and the current global availability of capital.

This official side event aims to foster a high-level dialogue between investors and policymakers to accelerate financing for climate action and the implementation of NDCs in Latin America.
